Stratoz and I are going to be back at the Audubon Art & Craft Festival, July 16th and 17th, 2011, from 10-5 in Hawley, PA. Known regionally as the finest Art and Craft show in the Poconos, this non-profit event raises funds for student scholarships and environmentally threatened areas in the Northern Poconos.
The Festival takes place in the Wallenpaupack School Complex that is located on Rt. 6 two miles south east of Hawley, PA on the eastern shore of beautiful Lake Wallenpaupack. A rare breed, this show is held indoors in air conditioned coolness, with free parking and $5.00 admission fee.
A Wildlife Art Show will run in conjunction with the festival , and activities such as:
- The Delaware Valley Raptor Center will have live raptors – hawks, owls and falcons on site.
- The Pocono Wildlife Rehabilitation Center will present live animals and an entertaining presentation on the animals and their behavior.
- The Binghamton Zoo will bring a variety of animals, for people to observe close up, and ask the experts questions.
- The Northeast PA Audubon Society will have an education table with free items for the family and a program on the NAS Forest Campaign.
Good luck with the show! I’ve been wondering how your blog transition went, and I guess you’re there! It looks great! So clean and easy to navigate!
