Thanks so much for stopping by my page and commenting. I had good friend in college from Canada and we used to talk about the differences a lot. What is your sister going to be doing in South Africa??
Visiting via SITS – the title caught my eye as I also have my gram’s dishes and love them. These you posted are BEAUTIFUL – shape, color – tell us about them sometime!
what lovely dishes. it’s so nice that you have them : )
p.s. just visited capogiro’s site. their flavors sound amazing! i just LOVE gelato : ) definitely will have to try it sometime.
have a great weekend!
Those dishes are beautiful! I love older pieces, especially ones with a lot of meaning. When I got married, my mom passed on to me the first set of dishes she ever got. They’re nearly 35 years old now, and I love them so much.
The composition on this is very appealing. The lines force my eyes to keep going back to the golden curves!
I’ll bet this makes a really stunning table! What wonderful memories they must bring 🙂

Lovely dishes, it’s so lovely that you have your grandmothers dishes. I’m sure there are so many stories and memories relating to those!
