Thank you for stopping by! How amazing are these mosaics! I remember in 4th grade having to make a mosaic with colored barley of the California State Flag. How time consuming! These are truly beautiful!
Not only is this piece stunning to look at as a whole, but I also love looking at the details and the ways that you negotiate the tiny pieces to make your forms… lovely!
I love this! Ever since I saw Samantha Brown’s travel show, where she took a mosaic class in Italy… I have wanted to go and do just that. This is just lovely. I may need to commission you for my house number… IF I get the condo!
your mosaics are wonderful. when I went to New Mexico last I went into a ceramics shop in Taos and made a mosaic mirror to take back home with me. I have it still. It doesn’t look anything like what you do here, but it’s a beautiful reminder of my stay there. thanks for stopping by my blog and for your kind words. I hope you have a gorgeous day1
Wow!! LOVE the mosaics ~ beautiful!! Thanks for stopping by my blog and I will be back to visit yours as well to see what new creations you have come up with!
Wow, a barley mosaic! I remember seeing ones made of dried beans that looked really cool, but I never had to make one in school. Thank you for your kind words about my art!
Those tiny pieces were a response to finally accepting that curves are sometimes complicated, and learning to go with the flow. Now I really like navigating.
I will have to look that show up–I would love to take a mosaic class in Italy! If you get the condo, I would love to be commissioned for a house number!

I always feel my work is done when it’s eye-grabbing, so thank you for the feedback!

I’m glad you enjoyed the colors! I am intrigued by the idea of a color for each day in Khmer culture, like you had on your site–it’s inspiring me.
Oh my goodness, that is gorgeous! Your work is always beautiful, but the rainbow border is especially nice on that one.
