I took a class in feminist art theory when I was in college, though I was majoring in poetry–so the way I found to unite the two was to write about artists who use text in their paintings, and Hollis Sigler was a great find!
I love this artwork, your post on your sister and orange. You really know how to make the colors pop! It’s hard having a sister so far away. Mine is in Portland, OR, and I’m here in MN. My other sister is in MN.
